Anthony Kenyon provides some insight into Kenyon Legal following the firm’s recent recognition in APAC Insider’s Australian Enterprise Awards 2020.
Kenyon Legal is a modern law firm dedicated to acting for clients who have been injured or suffered damages or loss in transport accidents. Founder and Principal, Anthony (Tony) Kenyon, tells us a little more about the firm and its personal approach.
“Kenyon Legal prides itself on delivery of personal service to our clients,” he states. “We actually care. There is no call centre and there are no multiple lawyers handling your claim.”
At Kenyon Legal, your personal injury claim is handled by Tony himself who has been acting for clients injured in transport accidents for more than 35 years, following the inception of Kenyons Lawyers in 1980.
Initially acting as Managing Partner, Kenyons Lawyers merged with the only publicly listed law firm in Victoria in 2010, and Kenyon Legal was established in 2017 by Tony and his partner, Kelly Kenyon, lawyer and joint Founder.
“We are driven to provide all our clients with the earliest possible resolution of common law claims for fair and just damages in a costconscious manner with costs proportionate to the result achieved.”
Tony continues, talking about what sets the firm aside from its competitors.
“Importantly, we care about the other benefits clients are entitled to that have a daily impact on their lives after the accident. These include ongoing treatment, medical and like expenses and loss of earning / capacity benefits as well as impairment lump sum benefits. Even when clients are at fault for the accident, they may have entitlements to these benefits.”
Regarded as experts with Transport Accident Personal Injury claims, Tony himself has been awarded recognition by clients and peers for his expertise, including Doyles Best Lawyers 2016, 2017, 2018 & 2019, Leading Motor Vehicle Accident Compensation Plaintiff Lawyers.
Tony was also foundation Committee member of the inaugural Protocol Working Group that established the Transport Accident Protocols and continues to be a member of the Protocol Working Group Committee.
In this role he was an integral member as well as part of the recent review of the Protocols that resulted in the implementation of the revised Protocols. These Protocols have been operating since July 2016.
In 2017 Tony was the National President of Australian Lawyers Alliance (and 2018 immediate Past President of Australian Lawyers Alliance), Chair of the Transport Accident Committee at the Law Institute of Victoria for several years until 2019 and he has been a member of the Committee for over 20 years. Finally, Kenyon Legal was most recently awarded the accolade of Best Personal Injury Law Firm 2020 in Victoria by APAC Insider.
“We have an established reputation and are fortunate that staff approach us and seek employment at Kenyon Legal,” says Tony, regarding the firm’s internal culture. “We provide a flexible work environment with regular continuing professional development and up-to-date technological support and benchmarks of achievement. Kenyon Legal staff proudly deliver exceptional timely outcomes for our clients.”
Technology is an integral part of any successful business and Kenyon Legal is no different as it constantly updates and reviews better ways to deliver its professional services to clients whilst maintaining a personal approach. With regards to the future, the firm strives to continue delivering its exceptional level of service to clients.
